Learning Games Lab Online Sessions

The Learning Games Lab develops educational games, animations, interactives, and apps. This summer we will host two free, week-long online summer sessions for middle school students. We are inviting students entering grades 6th, 7th, and 8th during the 2021-2022 school year in the state of New Mexico to apply to be Games Lab consultants.

During the week, Games Lab consultants will play and evaluate games and pitch a game to our team on the last day. In 2-hour Zoom sessions, they’ll meet other consultants, explore digital tools and games, and give us feedback on several of our products. They’ll also participate in out-of-session activities where they will play and evaluate specific games.

To participate, consultants will need to have access to broadband and a device with Zoom and internet capabilities and presentation software (i.e. Keynote, Power Point, etc.).

Consultants will be able to attend one of the two sessions. Session dates and times are:

Monday, June 21st–Friday, June 25th, 1:30–3:30 pm

Monday, July 19th–Friday, July 23rd, 1:30–3:30 pm

  • Summer 2021
We encourage interested students to apply. Please submit application by June 11th.
